Why does a dog need his or her own bed? Its simple--pets like to feel cozy and comfortable just like us humans. They need to know that there is a special place in the house where they can relax and get some peace and quiet. Dog Beds also provide warmth on a cold floor and cushioning for those well-used joints and muscles. When choosing a bed for your pet, consider size, shape (what position does your dog usually sleep in) a circle or spread out, and color/fabric. A dog who sheds alot might do better with a smooth fabric, while a shorthaired dog might stay warmer in a fleece bed. And, of course, consider your decor. You want this addition to your home to be attractive as well as functional. Remember, whatever you choose, your pup will love you for it.
